Prostate Relief
Zero Gravity | Aquatic Osteopathy
Our Zero Gravity sessions for Prostate Relief harness the benefits of warm buoyancy and use a variety of 3-dimensional techniques that cannot be applied during regular "land-based" therapy. Amongst other manual techniques, Zero Gravity uses Prostate-specific Visceral Manipulation.
What is Osteopathic Visceral Manipulation?
Osteopathic Visceral manipulation is a gentle, hands-on therapy based on the work of Dr. Jean-Pierre Barral (DO). Visceral manipulation addresses prostate-related issues by gently encouraging the normal movement and function of the prostate and surrounding joints, tissues, and organs. Through precise, gentle hands-on techniques including joint mobilizations, the therapist aims to reduce swelling, muscle tension, fascia restrictions, and improve mobility, blood & lymph flow, and organ function.
How can Zero Gravity address prostate issues?
The prostate is surrounded by various tissues including fascia layers, attachments, muscles, and organs. If any of these structures become restricted in their motility or function, it can lead to increased tension and irritation that can contribute to, or aggravate, prostate dysfunction.

Zero Gravity for Prostate Relief techniques are applied with the purpose of improving mobility and function of the body as a whole, and more specifically, the prostate gland and surrounding tissues and organs. Our Zero Gravity sessions assist in the management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and may help improve the following symptoms:

-
Nocturia: Frequent urination at night
-
Dysuria: Painful, difficult urination
-
Weak flow, straining to pee or "stop-start" peeing
-
Needing to pee urgently and/or frequently
-
Not being able to fully empty the bladder
In most cases, improvement is experienced after the first session.
