Zero Gravity
Indications and Benefits
Indications & Benefits

Zero Gravity sessions are beneficial to most people, from children to seniors, including the healthy and high performance athletes. Hydrostatic/water pressure reduces the load on the joints, and contributes to lymph flow, venous return, and improved proprioception. This restorative practice is ideal for those looking for healing, improved mobility/flexibility, athletic performance and deep relaxation.
Zero Gravity includes a combination of diaphragmatic breathing and manual osteoarticular mobilizations, osteopathic visceral manipulation, craniosacral, oscillatory, neuromuscular, neurokinetic, myofascial, and other soft tissue techniques. The session takes place in a private indoor pool, heated at 36ËšC.
Some of the benefits of our Zero Gravity sessions include:
- Deep Relaxation: Our sessions are often described as the most relaxing, introspective experience.
- Deep Tissue Restoration: Ideal after a competition or weekend-warrior practice.
- Healing: Following surgery, trauma, or musculoskeletal lesions or injuries, such as whiplash, sprains,
strains, and fractures.
- Rehabilitation: Zero Gravity is an excellent complement to Physiotherapy. Our sessions help reduce
pain and scar tissue, while improving range of motion, flexibility and motor control.
Zero Gravity is also beneficial for:
- Headaches and migraines, especially triggered by stress and muscle tension.
- Respiratory conditions (E.g. post Covid) and for clients with shallow breathing.
- Spinal compression and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.
- Lymphatic flow: Aquatic lymphatic and venous return techniques allow for improved flow.
- Pregnancy: Zero Gravity promotes health and wellbeing prior, during and post pregnancy.
Post Zero Gravity session, our clients report less pain and feeling deeply relaxed, lighter, and more aligned.
